The founders of Truvo came to Flashbang with their idea and a need for a quick proof-of-concept to be designed and built. Truvo is a product which provides customers with the chance to connect with real-life experts in the field which they are looking to purchase, for example, a new bike, camera or set of gold clubs – like livechat for any item in an online store.
Truvo was an idea which needed a visual, and in designing the website we also designed the basis for their brand. Flashbang created the logo, a symbol of simply connecting, showing the letters U and V ‘connecting’; the name ‘truvo’ comes from the words ‘true’ and ‘voice’ merged together, meaning the true voice of the expert who helps out the customer online, so it seemed logical to work that into how the logo forms. We also created the look and feel of the website based on the no-nonsense, honest and open feel the creators wanted the brand to convey to its users. We then designed the site, and built it, with a very quick turnaround to get their MVP up and running.
